Dental Treatment
Orthodontics
Our offer includes a wide range of services performed by dental surgeons. They perform tooth extraction procedures that have not been cured by other methods. They also perform complex procedures in the area of dental surgery, for example: resection of the apex of the root, enucleation of cysts, treatment of abscesses, repositioning or immobilization of a dislocated tooth. In addition to this, they also perform procedures in the field of plastic surgery of the oro-sinus joint.
Orthodontics is the science that deals with the position and structure of teeth and jaws. With orthodontic treatment, it is possible to correct irregularities of teeth, jaw disorders, joint problems and gain a harmonious tooth, jaw and face relationship in both children and adults.
Procedure
At the same time, treatment of disorders of the developmental process with various mechanisms can be performed in individuals with facial and jaw disorders.
In adult patients, treatment with transparent aplasia or more aesthetic and invisible systems is widely used.
Orthodontic Treatment (Dental and Jaw Disorders)
Orthodontic therapy is not only an aesthetic requirement but a necessary approach to improving the person’s chewing, talking and vital functions.
Skeletal disorders in children can be treated with orthopedic appliances and skeletal disorders in adults can be treated with surgical assisted orthodontic approaches.
With orthodontic treatment, it is possible to create a balanced chewing system and aesthetic smile.
Objectives of dental surgery
The goal of dental surgery is not only to treat advanced diseases of the oral cavity, but also to prepare patients for dental implants or prosthetic restorations. For this reason, its scope of application includes, among other things, plastic surgery of the alveolar process before the prosthesis and other procedures that prepare the alveolar process for the insertion of a prosthesis.
Extractions of impacted teeth and wisdom teeth (removal of the eighth tooth)
The most common dental surgery procedures are the removal of eighth and impacted teeth that no longer fit the dental arch. Before extracting the wisdom tooth, it is important to select the appropriate method by which the entire procedure will be performed. For this purpose, it is necessary to acquire X-ray images of the teeth. Based on them, you can choose the optimal method for a particular case.
Support for implantological and orthodontic treatment
The dental surgeon is also often responsible for preparing the oral cavity for orthodontic and implant treatment. In the latter case, he often has to perform bone regeneration, which is a procedure necessary in some cases for the implant. After the loss of natural teeth, bone atrophy occurs very often. If they reach an advanced stage, it is necessary to reconstruct the bones of the mandible or maxilla before implantation. In the case of orthodontic treatment, it is often the task of the dental surgeon to remove the individual teeth in order to obtain sufficient space in the arch for the correct alignment of the teeth.
DENTAL IMPLANTS
Implant dental treatment is an important treatment alternative that is often used to support the retention of dentures in the presence of both existing teeth and in the presence of removable dentures.
Tooth loss due to reasons such as rottenness, trauma, gum problems also brings with it a lot of functional, aesthetic and talking problems. These losses can be treated with fixed or mobile prostheses. In a fixed prosthetic treatment, existing healthy teeth may need to be intervened, while moving prostheses may not always offer the comfort that the patient expects in terms of retention and stability.
Before Implant Tooth Treatment
In a patient in need of implant dentistry, the general health status of the patient before deciding to apply should be assessed in detail to determine whether the implant site is suitable for both hard and soft tissue.
Again, it is necessary to decide what type of prosthesis should be done before placement of the implants, and the number, size, and position of the implants should be determined accordingly.
Dental Implant Treatment
It may be necessary to wait a certain period of time for the connection between the implant and the bone to occur after implantation of the implant. Depending on certain criteria, immediate loading can be performed and a temporary or permanent prosthesis can be applied immediately following implant surgery to the patient.
The patient’s bone structure may not always be suitable for implant applications. The presence of significant anatomical structures in the upper jaw and lower canal may pose a hazard to implant placement. In these cases, it may be possible to apply the implant by supporting bone grafts of the existing bone marrow or artificially used to support the implant.
Dental implant therapy is usually performed under local anesthesia. Where local anesthesia is not appropriate or the use of tissues to provide wider bone grafts such as the hip or leg may be required, the procedure may need to be performed under general anesthesia.
After Implant Dental Treatment
Following the surgery, the sutures are removed after 1 week in cases where the waiting period is appropriate, and the patient is left to the healing process. This process can range from 6 weeks to 6 months. Constructive or mobile prostheses last 10-20 days.
Maintenance of up-dental prosthesis is as important as treatment. It is a large part of the success that patients attach importance to hygienic approaches that extend the life of the prosthesis.
